Public Relations:
The PR Committee is responsible for all communications to members of the Newman House and the general public, e.g., weekly email, newsletter, mailings to incoming freshmen, etc. This committee also would publicize all fundraising and/or other activities.

Spirituality/Worship:
The purpose of this committee is to foster the spiritual growth of all Newman House members by planning retreats, spiritual talks, faith formation events, etc., and by scheduling the liturgical ministers for Newman House liturgies.

Social Service Projects/Mission:
The role of this committee is to make students aware of opportunities to serve within the college, the parish, and local community, including the United Campus Ministries Missions Day, which for the Spring Newman House Mission trip, including spearheadining fundraising efforts for this trip.

Social Activities:
This committee’s goal is to build community among Newman House members and other college students by providing opportunites for fun and fellowship.

Campus Activities:
The members of this committee would make Newman House members aware of events happening on campus and promote participation in campus events, e.g., Rush week events, All Campus Sing, etc. The chair of this committee would be designated President of the Newman House Student Advisory Council.

Household/Finances:
This committee is responsible for the upkeep of Newman House, which would include providing for regular cleaning & straightening up of the house and yard, decorating for holidays, reporting any repairs needed to the Campus Minister , etc. The treasurer of Newman House is a member of this committee and is appointed by the Director and Campus Minister.
